- Invisible Text – Adding content to a page and then using the same colour for the text as is being used for the page background, thus making it invisible to the human eye.
- Noncompliant Frame Use – The use of frames which are invisible to users, for the purposes of keyword stuffing.
- Noncompliant <NOSCRIPT> use – Usage of the <NOSCRIPT> tag for keyword stuffing.
- Miniscule Text Spamming – Shrinking text to the point where it is invisible to users and then stuffing the content with keywords.
- Improper Text Emphasis – Improperly using bold text or header tags to inflate the importance of keywords.
- Bad Neighborhood Links – Links to sites which employ non-compliant search engine optimisation techniques.
